Choosing the right vehicle size is one of the first questions we hear from clients calling our office in Kraków. Whether you're organizing a wedding transfer from the Old Town to a manor house near Wieliczka, moving employees to the Kraków Business Park, or planning a school trip to Ojców National Park, the size of the group determines almost everything — route flexibility, parking options, and of course the comfort of your passengers. Here's how we help clients from Kraków and all of Małopolska decide between an 8-seater bus, a 20-seater bus, and a full-size 50-seat coach.
An 8-seat air-conditioned bus is the go-to choice for small wedding parties, airport transfers, or business delegations. It fits easily into the narrow streets around Kazimierz or the Main Market Square area, where larger vehicles simply can't maneuver or park. We often use this size for transfers between Kraków-Balice Airport and hotels in the city center, or for picking up a handful of guests staying at different addresses before a wedding ceremony at a church in Podgórze or a venue in the Krakow countryside. It's also practical for short business trips to Katowice-Pyrzowice when only a few colleagues are traveling together. The smaller footprint means lower fuel use and easier routing through Kraków's Old Town traffic restrictions (strefa ograniczonego ruchu), which larger coaches must avoid entirely.
For many of our regular clients — companies with offices in the Special Economic Zone in Nowa Huta or Zabierzów, wedding organizers moving 20-30 guests, and schools planning day trips to Auschwitz-Birkenau or the Wieliczka Salt Mine — a 20-seat bus hits the sweet spot. It's large enough to consolidate a mid-sized group into one vehicle, cutting costs compared to sending two smaller buses, yet still nimble enough to reach venues without a paved coach parking area, which is common at rural wedding locations in the Małopolska countryside (Podhale, Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska). We recommend this size for daily employee shuttle routes to production plants near Kraków, where pickup points are scattered across several districts or nearby towns like Skawina or Wieliczka. It's also the most requested size for conference transfers to ICE Kraków Congress Centre or Tauron Arena, when a company needs to move staff from a hotel cluster to the venue in a few timed runs.
Another advantage of the 20-seat bus is scheduling flexibility. If your guest list is uncertain until the last minute — which happens often with weddings — this size gives you a buffer without paying for empty seats on a full coach.
When the group grows past 30 people, our coaches (seating up to around 50) become the more economical and practical choice. This is the standard for large corporate events, factory-wide shuttle
